     At Texas Savings Junkies you will find the deals that give you value for your $$$. I post DEALIES which are the best cost for an item. I know there are TONS of blogs out there that do FULL lists and matches but weeding through those for GREAT deals can be intimidating to newbies and people short on time in their hectic schedules. Our motto here is NOT extreme couponing. Our goal is to average $1 or less an item per purchase. Of course FREE is always GREAT. As a busy full time working mom to 3 girls I know time is golden to some so I hope my blog helps you!

As for more about me:
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Have been married to my hard working husband for almost 14 years.   We are proud parents of 3 wonderful young ladies ages 6, 8, and 13. My husband was in the Marine Corps (he now has what my cousins call a cushy suit job) so I did get to live in beautiful North Carolina for a few years but did miss my Texas DEARLY and back to Texas we came. I work for what I believe is one of the best companies in the soon to be world as our company has gone International. I enjoy baking, reading, spending time with my family, and of course couponing. Wish there were more hours in the day so I could get it ALL done, but isn't that one of the things most working moms wish for?

Why the name?
 If you have ever stood at the register and watched the price drop to a few cents total oop (out of pocket) that rush you get is a bit addicting. So your an addict, a savings junkie, waiting for your NEXT savings opportunity that could not come any sooner. Plus it's catchy!
